Authentic Korean Bibimbap

Besides shopping at Dongdaemun, we chose to dine in a crowded restaurant located at the busy Dongdaemun street. Yes, we were "kiasu" as we didn't want to ruin our dining experience in this beautiful country.

The star of the night .....................

BIBIMBAP

Give big applause please!

Bibimbap literally means "mixed rice" or "mixed meal". For those who doesn't know what Bibimbap is, I can tell you that it's a mixed vegetable and rice dish with a raw egg on top, served in a hot stone pot. It's one of the most representative Korean cuisine.

Tadaa...........................

My first Bibimbap in my life (I had a few bad experiences having Korean food in Malaysiaand thus giving up trying before I went to Korea. Besides, I'm a super fans of Japanese food. So that's why it's my first time)

It was delicious, healthy and gorgeous like a colorful bicycle wheel.

잘먹겠습니다 Pronounced as "za er me gai si mi da" (meaning is same with "itadakimasu" in Japanese or "Let's eat" in English)

After mixing all the toppings with chili pepper paste, it could turn you off. But I can tell that this was not only tasty, but also highly nutritious and made me totally fell in love with it.

Can anyone let me know where can get delicious and authentic bibimbap in KL? I miss it badly.

P/S: Coming up next!

My very first SNOW experience in Korea!
