Hakone Peace Park (平和公園) is a famous and beautiful place to capture the breathtaking view of Mount Fuji. But I couldn't get to see the Mt. Fuji in this park due to the weather. Instead, maple leaves seemed to be the limelight of the place for us.
This was the autumn colors at Hakone Peace Park entrance. Though some of the trees were left with only branches.
Walkway heading up to the pagoda
Love the sunshine that brightened up the maple leaves ^^
The pagoda with golden buddha!
Free souvenir of this trip - MAPLE LEAVES. Let me know if you want some! LOL
Picking up the leaves for my collection
Maple leaves were falling down! So romantic!
Actually it was too difficult to capture a photo when the leaves were falling. And at the end, I threw those leaves up to create the "maple snowing" effect!
You jump, I jump!
This small area was full with the fallen leaves and before the bus left, Pui Yee and me quickly climbed in for photos.
Perfect place for picnic!
Super love this park because it was really peaceful. We reached there a bit early and thus managed to skip the crowd. And all the photos taken at this park had a very special thing!
GUESS WHAT!
All the photos were without crowds, and not even a stranger!
you have certainly convinced me to visit Japan in Autumn... nice photos too ^___^
