Finally you see me updated this blog!!!
And I'm going to feed you with super delicious pastries!
Went to Levain for high tea with my hubby last few weeks ago and as a bread lover, I'm totally in love with this classy and cozy place that offers wide selection of freshly baked pastries.
Hot menu at the counter
Besides freshly baked breads from the oven, they have soup, pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, pies, plain croissants, cakes, chocolates and macaroons for you to choose.
The staff there stopped me from taking photos of the breads. So this was the only one :(
Impressive decor with a fine British element.
I ordered their signature chicken/beef rendang donut and turkey ham & egg.
The turkey ham & egg was a surprise! It tasted real nice!
This was the chicken rendang filling. OMG! It was heavenly good! The crispy exterior went wonderfully with it’s savoury chicken rendang.
Cappuccino
Macaroons. They looked so attractive but they were a bit too sweet to my liking.
Crispy chicken sandwich. This was not bad but below my expectation.
Outdoor ambiance was not bad too
I think Levain is one of the best bakeries in town. I no longer like the breads from Bread Story or Bread Talk after trying Levain. But of course, price does make the difference.
Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie is located at
No. 7, Jalan Delima,
55100 Kuala Lumpur.
You can check out their website for more info too!
I can't wait to return for more delicious breads!!! But too bad doctor advised me not to take breads due to gastric. Aiks......
Huh?? Cannot have bread when gastric? I didn't know bout this.
ReplyDeleteI like your outfits. simple & nice. AND the header too, love it!!!! :D Have a bit vintage colour mode & style.
I went to Levain more than 3 times dy -.- haha. I also like their breads & spaghetti! You should try the spaghetti. :) But the portion is a bit small.
Yvon S: Yeap, i think the baking powder and yeast will cause gastric.
